These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) govern your use of the Aire Valley Fire & Safety website and the services we provide. By accessing our website or engaging our services, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of these Terms, please do not use our website or services.
1. About Us
Aire Valley Fire & Safety (“we”, “our”, or “us”) is a fire safety services provider based in Birstall, West Yorkshire, United Kingdom. We provide fire extinguisher servicing, supply, fire safety training, and fire risk assessments.
2. Use of Website
2.1 Acceptable Use
You agree to use our website only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of others or restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use of the website. You must not:

3. Services
3.1 Service Provision
We provide fire safety services including but not limited to:
- Fire extinguisher servicing and maintenance
- Supply of fire extinguishers and related products
- Fire awareness training
- Fire marshal training
- Fire risk assessments
3.2 Quotations and Orders
All quotations are valid for the period stated or, if no period is stated, for 30 days from the date of issue. We reserve the right to withdraw or amend any quotation at any time before acceptance. A contract for services will be formed when you accept our quotation in writing (including email) or by conduct (e.g., allowing us to commence work).
3.3 Service Standards
We will provide services with reasonable care and skill, in accordance with industry standards and applicable regulations, including BS 5306 for fire extinguisher servicing. All our engineers are BAFE trained and qualified. However, we do not guarantee that our services will meet all your specific requirements unless expressly agreed in writing.
4. Pricing and Payment
4.1 Pricing
All prices are quoted in British Pounds (GBP) and are exclusive of VAT unless otherwise stated. We reserve the right to change our prices at any time, but changes will not affect orders already accepted.
4.2 Payment Terms
Payment terms will be as agreed in the quotation or invoice. Unless otherwise agreed, payment is due within 30 days of the date of invoice. We reserve the right to charge interest on overdue amounts at a rate of 8% per annum above the Bank of England base rate, in accordance with the Late Payment of Commercial Debts (Interest) Act 1998.
4.3 Guarantees
Fire extinguishers supplied by us come with a five-year guarantee, subject to proper use and annual servicing in accordance with BS 5306. The guarantee covers manufacturing defects and does not cover damage caused by misuse, neglect, or failure to maintain the equipment properly.
5. Limitation of Liability
5.1 General Limitation
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we exclude all representations, warranties, conditions, and terms other than those expressly set out in these Terms. Our total liability to you in respect of all losses arising under or in connection with our services, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty, or otherwise, shall not exceed the total amount paid by you to us for the relevant services in the 12 months preceding the claim.
5.2 Exclusions
We shall not be liable for:
- Any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profits, business, revenue, or data
- Losses arising from your failure to follow our advice or recommendations
- Losses arising from circumstances beyond our reasonable control
- Losses arising from the use of equipment not supplied or maintained by us
5.3 Statutory Rights
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited under English law.
6. Intellectual Property
All content on this website, including text, graphics, logos, images, and software, is the property of Aire Valley Fire & Safety or its licensors and is protected by UK and international copyright laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any content on this website without our express written permission.
7. Cancellation and Refunds
7.1 Cancellation by You
You may cancel an order or service agreement by giving us written notice. If you cancel after we have commenced work, you will be liable to pay for all work completed up to the date of cancellation, plus any costs we have reasonably incurred.
7.2 Cancellation by Us
We reserve the right to cancel or suspend services if:
- You fail to make payment when due
- You breach any term of these Terms or our service agreement
- Circumstances arise that make it impossible or impractical to provide the services
- We reasonably believe that continuing to provide services would be unlawful or unsafe
7.3 Refunds
Refunds will only be given in accordance with your statutory rights or as expressly agreed in writing. If you are a consumer, you have the right to cancel within 14 days of entering into a distance contract, subject to certain exceptions for services that have been fully performed.
8. Force Majeure
We shall not be liable for any failure or delay in performing our obligations under these Terms if such failure or delay results from circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including but not limited to acts of God, war, terrorism, industrial disputes, fire, flood, storms, pandemics, or government actions.
9. Complaints
If you have any complaints about our services, please contact us in writing at the address below. We will investigate your complaint and respond within a reasonable time. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may have the right to refer the matter to an alternative dispute resolution provider or to the courts.
10. Governing Law and Jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or our services shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Any changes will be posted on this page with an updated “Last Updated” date. Your continued use of our website or services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms. Material changes will be notified to existing customers where practicable.
